We use band-aids for cuts and bruises.  We use Tylenol for headaches.  We use ice packs for tooth aches, and casts for broken bones.  Yet, do we remember that God’s promises are there for each and every problem that we have?  The Bible is full of scriptures with promises for each of us.  Have you learned them?  Do you turn to them when you need them or turn to quick-fix solutions?  Do we call our friends on cell phones when we need to hear that someone cares, or do we read the Scriptures that say that the Lord will never leave us nor forsake us?  I wonder what would happen if we invested more time in God’s promises—would we have less problems?  I think so.  Hide God’s Word in your heart, so you can draw from it when you need answers!     Are you a Sunday morning church-goer that only feels obligated to give God  two hours a week?  If you were in love would two hours a week be enough to be with that person?  Hardly!  When you love someone you can’t stay away from them!   Get to know God and His Love Letter to you  by joining us in Bible Study on Wednesday nights.  You will find that the lover of your soul will be there waiting for you.
