TODAY’S MEMORY VERSE:
“Thou hast been faithful over a few things,
I will make thee ruler over many things” Matthew 25:21

Joseph had gotten into trouble with his brothers when he shared his dreams with them. They hated him. Little did his brothers know that being able to interpret or tell what a dream meant was actually a God given gift. When God’s timing was right, Joseph’s gift took him from the prison to the palace. It didn’t happen overnight, but God did finally answer Joseph’s prayers, and gave Joseph the victory.

You may have a problem that has been troubling you. Perhaps you have a struggle in school with English, or with Math. You try and try, but it just doesn’t seem like you will ever learn how to do what you need in that subject. If you haven’t done it before, you need to pray, and ask God to help you with the subject you have trouble in. You will be surprised about the change that will take place. God always is here to help you.

Some of you may have problems in your own home. Perhaps a brother or sister has not been kind to you. Maybe they always pick on you. If you pray, God can change that situation just like he did for Joseph.

Prayer is a wonderful gift that God has given us. We can do it whenever we want, and wherever we want. God is always there to listen to us. No, we don’t see him with our eyes, but our spirit does. Whenever you have a problem, you can always trust that God will eventually help you solve it. It may not happen over night, just like it didn’t happen right away with Joseph, but eventually God will bring you the answer, and help you. Joseph prayed, and believed that God would turn things around for him, and that is just exactly what happened.

This week , before you get upset with any situation that comes up, pray and trust God like Joseph did. You will be surprised at the difference it will make.

Have a good week!
