So often people think, “if I were good enough then God would love me”.  Sorry to say, but you will never be good enough to earn God’s love.   Grace comes undeservedly, and only through faith (believing God meant what He said) do we receive it.  You can’t earn it, you can’t buy it, you can’t steal it, and we certainly don’t deserve it.  God’s love is a free gift, and the only way that you get it is to accept it, right where you are, regardless of your condition.  Let go of the past, for it is over, and don’t worry about tomorrow, because it is not here yet.  Just take God at His word and allow His love to embrace you.  He is waiting for you.  The question is, will you receive it?
