As I write this, many states are in lock down because of a so-called virus. The world has gone into panic. The stock market has crashed, regained, then crashed again. Today, figures about the economy say that the United States retail sales are down 47%. That means that people are not spending money because they don’t have money to spend. They have lost their jobs, or they are on hold because of the “virus.” Stores have closed because of not being “essential” businesses. Churches have had their Pastors looked down on because they wanted to have services. Some were arrested. Chaos is all around us.

With Race riots, abortion, blatant sin, hatred reeking havoc from the government to the garbage man. Divorces are rampant and drugs are killing people by the hundreds.

Certainly God is not pleased.

What if Jesus were to come back just as you are reading this? Are you truly prepared?

In Revelation 21:7-8 It says “He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. But…..the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”

Liars? Fearful? Unbelieving?

1 Corinthians 6: 9-10 says: “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators (sex while unmarried) nor idolators, (worshiping anything other than God) nor adulterers (sex with someone else other than your spouse) nor effeminate (homosexuality) nor abusers of themselves with mankind (sexual deviates) nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.” Now that is a long list my friends.

What if you are involved with any of these things? Has the fear of God gotten a hold of you yet? Do you think you are okay? NO, you aren’t okay if you don’t repent. Every one of these things that are done continuously shows that a person IS NOT righteous (right with God). We can’t call sin anything other than what it is sin. The second death means separated from God for eternity. Is your sin worth it? What if Jesus came back tonight? What if you died in your sleep?

God hates sin, but loves the sinner. If you haven’t gotten your heart right, I suggest you do it now. We aren’t guaranteed tomorrow. Repent – be sorry for your sin – then ask Jesus to forgive you. Then ask him to wash you in his precious blood. Then go and sin no more.

What if?
